In quality of mandated agent for the case, the Brussels-based ambassador of Equatorial Guinea , Carmelo Nvono-Ncá, headed the preparatory meeting in Brussels, before the last hearing scheduled within the frame of the procedure which opposes our country against France at the International Court of Justice (ICJ) in The Hague.

The lawyers of Equatorial Guinea, including Michael Wood, Jean-Charles Tchicaya, Alfredo Corsato, Omri Sender, and Alain-Guy Tachou-Sipowo attended the meeting. On the other hand, a delegation from Equatorial Guinea, headed by Justice Minister Juan Olo Mba, accompanied by Attorney General Fran-cisco Evuy Nguema, visited the European capital to attend this critical work session.

The message of Nvono-Ncá, as the mandated agent remains the same, Equatorial Guinea has all the rights to argue that its sovereignty must be fully respected.
