Throughout the intense mission in Brussels of the Secretary-general of the Democratic Party of Equatorial Guinea (PDGE), Jerónimo Osa Osa Ecoro, in which he has developed a relevant agenda of meetings in the European institutions, he could not miss a visit to the General Secretariat of the Group of African, Caribbean and Pacific States (ACP).

After the recent opening in our country of the Group’s South-South and Triangular Cooperation Headquarters, the only one in the world dedicated exclusively to this matter and the only headquarters that the ACP has outside of Europe, Jerónimo Osa wanted to meet with the Secretary General of the ACP, Patrick I. Gomes, to personally thank the ACP for their confidence. Thus, the Secretary General of the PDGE reaffirmed the commitment of Equatorial Guinea to this important office, which will soon begin to develop an important economic, commercial, political and cultural partnership with other great powers of the South. This meeting served for the General Secretary of the PDGE to dissipate any misunderstanding that might confuse our country’s commitment to respect the international agreements that we subscribe to.
