The South-South and Triangular Cooperation ACP Office was inaugurated last October in Malabo, although, for the moment, the activity has been limited to purely organizational matters. As a matter of fact, the full exercise of this new body depends on the signature and ratification of the Permanent Headquarters Agreement.

A date for this important event has finally be set and scheduled for the next 24 of July. The ACP Group Secretary General, Patrick I. Gomes, will travel in person to Malabo to sign the document and the Brussels-based Ambassador of Equatorial Guinea, Carmelo Nvono-Ncá, has met with him at the General Secretariat of the Group in Brussels in order to specify the trip modalities.
