The Brussels-based Ambassador of Guinea Equatorial, Carmelo Nvono-Ncá has met with the Italian MEP of Congolese origin, Cécile Kashetu Kyenge, to introduce her the candidacy of President Obiang for the ‘Best President’ award.
This award, which will be handed over in 2020, was initiated by a large number of pan-African civil society organizations throughout Europe, which intend to recognize the international impact induced by an African Head of State and reward him with the honorific decoration of best President in the world.
Throughout this important meeting, Nvono-Ncá stressed the relevant humanitarian work the President of Equatorial Guinea has carried out in Africa on multiple occasions, as the generous contributions made during the Ebola crisis in Liberia, Sierra Leone and Guinea Conakry. The MEP applauded the interesting initiative and offered the Ambassador her full support.
