The Ambassador of Equatorial Guinea mandated before the European Institutions, Carmelo Nvono-Ncá, has met with the Permanent Representative of Portugal to the EU, Nuno Brito, to address issues of Peace and Security in the international context. As members of the Community of Portuguese Language Countries (CPLP), Equatorial Guinea maintains a deep connection and excellent relations with the Portuguese country.

According to Nvono-Ncá, he reiterated throughout the meeting, “the firm commitment of the President of the Equatorial Guinea’s Republic, Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo, is to strengthen the already existing cooperation with European countries in order to ensure the peace of the States”.
