As reported this week, the Ambassador of Equatorial Guinea before the Kingdom of Belgium and the Netherlands, Carmelo Nvono-Ncá, headed a two days intense meetings with the international lawyers team in charge of defending Equatorial Guinea for the last two years in the case opened against France before the International Court of Justice (CIJ). Given his functions as the agent of his country before the his presence was undoubtedly critical.

Last Tuesday they successfully achieved their meetings since they set up new strategies to better defend Equatorial Guinea’s interests during the next stage before the Court of The Hague, which should normally take place at the end of 2019 or early in 2020.
