The African Caribbean and Pacific (ACP) Ambassador’s committee gave its approval the 15th in May, 2018, after three years of negotiations, to allow Equatorial Guinea to host the South-South and Triangular Cooperation Office in Malabo where various technical expertise on development will contribute to run in-dept studies and implement projects.
The final decision is still to be ratified during the upcoming ACP Ministers Council which will be hold in Lomé (Togo) and will end up the 1st in June. Before this important council, the Ambassador of Equatorial Guinea, Carmelo Nvono-Ncá met the General Secretary Patrick Gomes to recall the commitments his country will uphold, the same he mentioned during his intervention at the Ambassador’s Committee. The involvement of Equatorial Guinea to achieve this collective ambition is such that the government committed to take at his charge all the budgetary expenses for this year.
Embassy temporarily closed for repair work.
