Dear Mr President,

Allow us to send, to you to your beloved family our best wishes from the Guinea Equatorial embassy in Brussels whose mission covers the kingdom of Belgium, the kingdom of the Netherlands, the Grand Duchy of Luxemburg, the kingdom of Denmark, the Turkish Republic, the European institutions and the OPCW. We hope that Christmas celebrations and the year that is about to start will promise prosperity, peace and welfare.

The momentum seems opportune to make a first assessment; it is clear that 2017 was a year of hardwork and difficult decisions but the outcome of this remains more than positive. Thanks to your efforts, your commitment and your talent, Equatorial Guinea has completed a year full of success whose main achievement were certainly the election of our nation as a non permanent member of the UN Security Council, but also the recognition and acceptance by external observers of the legislative and municipal elections.

We will surely face plenty of new challenges next year, but let me ensure you we will keep following H.E. abnegation and inspiring path, all those efforts and sacrifices will undoubtedly lead to greater successes such as growth, sustainable development, security and stabilty. From our diplomatic mission based in the European capital we reaffirm our full commitment to make our nation, Equatorial Guinea, a better and a greater country.

My sincere thoughts and prayers are with you, your beloved family and Equatorial Guinea’s people. We hope that the Lord’s blessing will bring you good health, harmony, happiness and welfare for the coming year 2018.
