If the sanitary conditions due to the evolution of the Covid-19 pandemic allow it, the OACPS Secretary General (Organization of African, Caribbean and Pacific States), Georges Rebelo Pinto Chikoti, intends to travel to Malabo at the end of 2021 to visit the agency’s South-South and Triangular Cooperation Office, located in Malabo.
Relations between Equatorial Guinea and the OACPS are excellent and much needed.
Carmelo Nvono-Ncá
This was confirmed by himself to the Ambassador of Equatorial Guinea in Brussels, Carmelo Nvono-Ncá, during a meeting held on May 26 at the offices of the General Secretariat of the group in the Belgian capital. The trip of the OACPS Secretary General would take place within the framework of the work to relaunch cooperation among the member countries of the OACPS. This body is the one that groups the most countries after the United Nations and favors relations between three of the regions of the planet with the most growth prospects: Africa, Caribbean and Pacific.
The Malabo South-South and Triangular Cooperation Office is the first to be established in an OACPS country and its clear objective is to promote interests among member states, strengthening ties between them and creating synergies with northern countries through of triangular cooperation.
