Reunión Secretario General OEACP

As we have been reporting through this website, the OACPS Secretary General will travel to Malabo on August 31 to visit the agency’s South-South and Triangular Cooperation Office.

For this reason, and despite meeting in the month of August, the Brussels Diplomatic Mission and especially its Ambassador, Carmelo Nvono Ncá, are working hard with the last preparations for this important mission of the Secretary General of the Organization of States of Africa, Caribbean and Pacific (OACPS), Georges Rebelo Pinto Chikoti, to our country.

It is essential to promote South-South and Triangular Cooperation, since it is the way that allows developing countries to achieve a greater degree of participation in international economic activities and expand international cooperation in development matters.

The mission of the OACPS Secretary General is carried out within the framework of the work to relaunch cooperation among the member countries of the OACPS. South-South and Triangular Cooperation is today positioned as the collaboration framework par excellence between the countries of the South and with the countries of the North in the political, economic, social, cultural, environmental and technical spheres. In addition, the OACPS is the body that groups the most countries after the United Nations and favors relations between three of the regions of the planet with the most growth prospects: Africa, the Caribbean and the Pacific.
