The Ambassador of Equatorial Guinea in Brussels, Carmelo Nvono-Ncá, also Permanent Representative to the OACPS (Organization of African, Caribbean and Pacific States), met with the Secretary General of the organization, Georges Rebelo Pinto Chikoty, to confirm the latest preparations for the OACPS Heads of State Summit that will take place in Angola from December 6 to 10.
The event will take place under the motto “Three Continents, Three Oceans, One Common Destiny: Building a Resilient and Sustainable OACPS”. An event of crucial importance, taking into account that the OACPS is the international organization that brings together the most countries, after the United Nations: no less than 79 nations from three different continents.
The OACPS Heads of State Summit will be preceded by a business forum where, among other topics, issues related to trade between the member states of the organization will be discussed. Angola has been working for some time on the organization of this high-level event, which will focus especially on international news and economic and cultural globalization.
