Ambassador Carmelo Nvono-Ncá, recently appointed as the Permanent Representative of Equatorial Guinea to the International Maritime Organization (IMO), met the current Permanent Representative of Mexico to the IMO, Aureny Aguirre, during the meetings of the Assembly of the important maritime institution.
Candidates for the IMO Council, for the Mexican delegation, this Assembly was particularly important. Therefore the Ambassador of Equatorial Guinea duly addressed this issue and wanted to be accordinly informed about the initiatives the Mexican government was leading as a candidate for this governmental body. In addition, Nvono-Ncá explained to the Mexican representative the potential and the benefits that the South-South and Triangular Cooperation Office of the ACP Group, based in Malabo, could offer to Hispanic countries.
