Since the beginning of 2019, several pan-Africanist civil society organizations throughout Europe are designing a new international award that will recognize the work of a Head of State at the world level to decorate him as the best President in the world. The reputed award, which will bear the title Best President Award, was intended to be presented in early 2020, but the Coronavirus pandemic has prevented the ceremony from taking place. However, it is expected that it can be held in a few months.
The Ambassador of Equatorial Guinea to the European Union, Carmelo Nvono Ncá, has had a productive meeting with the ELEX law firm, with whom he is completing the preparations in legal terms for the delivery of the Best President Award, for which the President of Equatorial Guinea, Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo, is a candidate. The team of professionals with whom the Ambassador is working brought out the effort and hard work that the President of Equatorial Guinea has had at a national and international level, as well as his pan-Africanist spirit.
The Best President Award, which will be sponsored by important European NGOs, but will have the support of multiple non-profit Pan-Africanist organizations and associations throughout Europe, will especially value the work of any Head of State in the world who has contributed to and for the development of Africa.
