The Ambassador of Equatorial Guinea to the Netherlands and agent during the five years of the case against France before the International Court of Justice (ICJ), Carmelo Nvono-Ncá, has received one of the international lawyers from the Equatorial Guinea delegation to take stock of the verdict and thank him for his dedication throughout the process.

Specifically, the member of the delegation that Nvono-Ncá received was Jean Charles Tchikaya, a lawyer from the Bordeaux Bar Association, in France, who has more than 30 years of extensive experience in the field of international litigation. Thus, Nvono-Ncá once again wanted to acknowledge the work of each of the international lawyers, and so it wanted to transmit it in person to the lawyer Jean Charles Tchikaya.

The merit of the great team of lawyers of the delegation of Equatorial Guinea is undeniable. Without them we would never have gotten this far.

Equatorial Guinea presented its claim to the ICJ, the highest United Nations Court, in 2016 and during the almost five years that the case lasted the entire Equatorial Guinea delegation, made up of a large team of international lawyers, Equatorial Guinean jurists and part of the staff of the Brussels Diplomatic Mission, worked hard to develop the best international defense that our country has ever had.
