Nvono-Ncá accompanies the Director of the South-South and Triangular Cooperation Office before his departure to Malabo

On the afternoon of November 5, the recently appointed Director of the Malabo South-South and Triangular Cooperation Office, Patrice Niyongabo, left Brussels for Malabo, where he will hold the important position for what is the only headquarters in the world. dedicated exclusively to South-South and Triangular Cooperation.

The Ambassador of Equatorial Guinea in Brussels and Permanent Representative to the Organization of African, Caribbean and Pacific States (OACPS), Carmelo Nvono-Ncá, accompanied the new Director on his last day in the Belgian capital before settling in Malabo. During a lunch at the official residence of the Ambassador, Nvono-Ncá was able to personally say goodbye to Niyongabo and both have reviewed the last points to be specified before the inauguration of the Director of the South-South and Triangular Cooperation Office.

After ten years of tough negotiations from Brussels, Ambassador Nvono-Ncá obtained in 2018 the approval of the opening of this important office, which will mean a before and after for cooperation between the countries of the South and which will position Equatorial Guinea as a benchmark in international politics.
