As we reported yesterday, an important delegation from the Ministry of Aviation of Equatorial Guinea, headed by the Minister, Mr. Fausto Abeso Fuma, has visited the European capital to hold important meetings with the European institutions.

After the technical meeting, the Minister, accompanied by the Ambassador in Brussels, Mr. Carmelo Nvono-Ncá, held an important political meeting with the Director of Aviation of the Directorate-General for Mobility and Transport of the European Commission, Mr. Filip Cornelis.

Minister Abeso reported that Equatorial Guinea is ready to undergo the European examination and gave all the data on the positive qualification granted by the International Civil Organization (ICAO).

The Ambassador, for his part, stressed that our country is making great strides and opening up to the world, which is why the visit of the European Commission is eagerly awaited, with the aim of verifying the country’s development at all levels. “The relations between Equatorial Guinea and the EU are at their best thanks to the work of our Government,” said the Ambassador, who added that “Equatorial Guinea prioritizes the EU in its foreign relations, therefore the visit of the experts will respond to the high level of existing relationships ”.
