As we have been reporting this week, the Secretary General of the Democratic Party of Equatorial Guinea (PDGE), Jerónimo Osa Osa Ecoro, has been on an official visit to the European capital, meeting with important positions of the many institutions based in the city. One of the most relevant and in which the Secretary General has had more meetings has been the European Parliament.
On the day of November 7, Jerónimo Osa, and all the delegation that accompanied him, met with the Spanish MEP Izaskun Bilbao Barandica, from the Group of the Alliance of Liberals and Democrats for Europe; the Portuguese Carlos Zorrinho, from the Group of the Progressive Alliance of Socialists and Democrats and António Marinho e Pinto, from the Group of the Alliance of Liberals and Democrats for Europe, and the French Aymeric Chaupade, from the Europe Group of Freedom and Democracy Direct.
The General Secretary of the PDGE personally invited all of them to travel to Equatorial Guinea to learn first-hand about the reality of our country and witness the great evolution that our nation is developing. However, until this trip can be made, Jerónimo Osa was responsible throughout the meetings to involve all MEPs in the current development of the country, with all its advances, as well as the reality of the people.
