The Ambassador of Equatorial Guinea in Brussels, Mr. Carmelo Nvono-Ncá, held a very special reception at his official residence in homage to the President of the Republic, who on June 5 celebrated his 75 years of life.

The celebration was attended by the Minister of Aviation, Mr. Fausto Abeso Fuma, present in the Belgian capital on matters pertinent to his portfolio and important contacts that are being maintained with the European institutions.

In his speech, the Ambassador informed all those present at the ceremony of the recent election of Equatorial Guinea as a non-permanent member of the Security Council of the United Nations (UN), the most relevant international body on matters of Peace and security. Ambassador Nvono assured that our representation “will defend, above all, the international interests of Africa, security and world order.”
