The Agent of Equatorial Guinea before the International Court of Justice (ICJ), Carmelo Nvono-Ncá, has been received in the important institution of international justice, to which he has paid the utmost respect for him.

Carmelo Nvono-Ncá, who is also the Ambassador of Equatorial Guinea to Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, Denmark, the European Union and the International Maritime Organization (IMO), is the agent of the Equatorial Guinean delegation to the International Court of Justice in The Hague , the largest justice institution of the United Nations, in the territorial dispute between Equatorial Guinea and Gabon.

Specifically, Nvono-Ncá has been received by high authorities of the International Court of Justice, to whom he has informed of the entry of a Gabonese delegation into the territory of Mbañe, one of the lands in dispute between the two countries. “Equatorial Guinea does not understand how, having a commitment signed and ratified by both Heads of State, Gabon has dared to appear in Mbañe in this way without informing, or consulting with Equatorial Guinea,” Agent Nvono-Ncá pointed out throughout the meeting.

However, the Agent has wanted to reiterate the maximum respect ge has for the International Court of Justice and testify that Equatorial Guinea will never imitate actions that may violate the principle of good faith within a judicial process, before this prestigious institution of justice.
