La Razón, one of the most important newspaper in Spain, published on Sunday, 7 of April, a two-page interview with the President of Equatorial Guinea, Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo: https://www.larazon.es/internacional/obiang-espana-como-madre-patria-tiene-que-reconocer-a-todos-sus-hijos-y-no-discriminar-a-ninguno-PD22744957
Published in the international section, both in the printed and on-line version – which also includes fragments of the video -, this article reflects the international community’s increasing interest in Equatorial Guinea. This interview also depicts a paradigm shift in the image reflected by the African country. “We are building a democracy whose base is the acceptance of our citizens ” assured President Obiang.
The mediation of the PDGE Secretary General, Jerónimo Osa Osa Ecoro, as well as the Brussels-based embassy, and in particular its Ambassador, Carmelo Nvono-Ncá, has been critical to facilitate this press trip.
