The Brussels-based Embassy of Equatorial Guinea, headed by Ambassador Carmelo Nvono-Ncá, has been negotiating for the last three years the creation of the G5 group, which will consist in bringing together a nation from each continent characterized by its small size but with great potential at both economic and resource level. This important group should start working with a first high-level meeting scheduled for the upcoming weeks. For the very reason, Nvono-Ncá wanted to meet with the ACP Group Secretary General, Patrick I. Gomes, who reported on the whole initiative, with the full support of the 79 ACP Group Member States.
This initiative, which could become a powerful political and economic alliance worldwide, would be therefore composed of a total of five countries, one for each of the regions, namely America, Africa, Europe, the Middle East and Asia.
