After months of negotiations between the Ambassador of Equatorial Guinea in Brussels, Carmelo Nvono-Ncá and the Ibero-American Association of Jurists, and specifically its Director, Andrés Guerrero, Equatorial Guinea has signed a historic pre-agreement of association with this reputed body, whose purpose It is the search, study, promotion and promotion of “Ibero-American Integration”, both nationally and internationally, in any sector directly or indirectly related to the world of law.
Equatorial Guinea has always been clear that the link with the Ibero-American countries, fostered by all having Spanish as an official language, is unbreakable. Likewise, it is aware of the importance of international law and justice to ensure respect for national sovereignties, as well as increase equality between countries. And nothing better than cooperation between sister nations, establishing a bridge of communication and exchange of capacities, to achieve this.
All action is little to ensure a solid democratic system, as well as an efficient, prompt and equitable effective administration of justice, which guarantees human rights and respect for legal security throughout the Ibero-American Community.
Ambassador Nvono-Ncá
The historic signing, which took place on August 4 in Madrid in the presence of the Rector of the International Studies Society, Juan Solaeche, is expected to be ratified in a formal signature in the coming months.
