The recent inauguration of the South-South and Triangular Cooperation Office in Malabo, as well as the enormous potential that this center can generate, has induced the interest of many organizations and in some cases with international ambition.
This is the case of the StartUp Europe Awards, an initiative of the European Commission and the Finnova Foundation, which aims to reward start-ups at local, regional, national and European level, promoting an comprehensive innovation able to foster collaboration between the different actors involved within the European ecosystem.
The managerial team in charge of these awards solicited the collaboration and support from the Burssels-based Ambassador of Equatorial Guinea, Carmelo Nvono-Ncá, as representative of the country in which the South-South Cooperation Office is based, in order to lead the first discussions for the possible organization of this event at the level of Africa, the Caribbean and the Pacific: the StratUp ACP Awards.
This project would therefore provide visibility to all local businesses in the broad ACP group, enabling them to adapt their services and products on a global scale. Nvono-Ncá will now initiate the necessary dialogue so that the ACP Group Secretariat General can open this file and begin to take the requested measures for the celebration of these awards.
