The Representative of Equatorial Guinea to the International Maritime Organization (IMO), Carmelo Nvono-Ncá, met a few weeks ago in the British capital with the Argentine delegation to the IMO, with whom he discussed in detail the experience of the Latin American country in the environment internal maritime. Argentina has just shown its interest in hosting the 2021 edition of the International Maritime and Port Protection Forum (ISPS), an event for which Equatorial Guinea has also been a candidate as organizer.

For this reason, Nvono-Ncá, was able to learn throughout the meeting, thanks to the testimony of the Argentine Ambassador to the United Kingdom, Carlos Sersale, like Argentina, who due to its geographical position is far from the consumption centers of its exports, thus As the production centers of its imports, it nevertheless manages to make more than 85% of its international trade use water transport.
