The Vice Minister of the Presidency in charge of State Ceremonies, Hon. Mr. Armando Dougan Champion, is visiting Brussels with the aim of developing a relevant work agenda with national authorities and international organizations.

Throughout the day on June 26, Mr. Dougan held an important meeting with the Secretary General of the Africa, Caribbean and Pacific Group (ACP), Mr. Patrick I. Gomes, in which he informed him on the recent election of Equatorial Guinea to the United Nations Security Council.

The Vice Minister, always accompanied by the Ambassador in Brussels, Mr. Carmelo Nvono-Ncá, reiterated, throughout the meeting, the interest of our country in hosting the headquarters of South-South Cooperation, emphasizing the important role that Equatorial Guinea has as African strategic center, especially in its relations with Central America and the Caribbean.
