The Ambassador of Equatorial Guinea in Brussels, Carmelo Nvono-Ncá, has met in Madrid with the Director of the Association of Jurists of Ibero-America, Andrés Guerrero, to sign a Cooperation Agreement between the important legal institution and the Equatorial Guinean country.
With the upcoming legislative and presidential elections in Equatorial Guinea as a backdrop, and taking into account the socioeconomic and legal momentum that the country has been developing over the last few years, as a result of the successful national and international policies of President Obiang, Ambassador Nvono-Ncá has chosen to continue opening doors with the Ibero-American environment. And what better way to do it than through legal cooperation with this sister region.
This cooperation agreement will allow Equatorial Guinea to enjoy more information and more advice from the Association of Jurists of Ibero-America, a reputed body, whose purpose is the search, study, promotion and encouragement of “Ibero-American Integration”, both nationally and internationally, in any sector directly or indirectly related to the world of law. It should be remembered that on August 4, 2020, Ambassador Nvono-Ncá signed a historic pre-association agreement with this renowned body. It is expected that the ratification of this agreement will be carried out shortly by the Equatorial Guinea Bar Association.
