Misión de observación de las Elecciones de Bolivia

As we have already reported on this website, the Ambassador of Equatorial Guinea to the European Union, Carmelo Nvono-Ncá, participated last May as an international observer in the first round of the Colombian Elections, as part of the team of the Association of Jurists of Ibero-America (ASJURIB).

Nvono-Ncá, has now wanted to congratulate ASJURIB for its excellent management, as well as to applaud the civic behavior of the Colombian population throughout these elections. «It was a complicated task due to the importance of the strength of the matches that were presented, but the country allowed us to do a good professional job. In this way, I want to join the democratic spirit of Colombians who today have a new president legitimized by universal suffrage”, declared the Ambassador.

Likewise, Nvono-Ncá wanted to thank the trust that the Ibero-American Association of Jurists has placed in him by inviting him as an observer both in the Elections of Colombia, and in those of Panama, Bolivia and Peru.

The observation mission of the Colombian Elections turned out to be a complete success and all the members of the Committee of Experts of ASJURIB carried out the appropriate follow-up to verify all the principles of transparency, good governance and citizen participation, through the media, social networks and the links provided by the authorities of the corresponding electoral commissions.
