The Ambassador of Equatorial Guinea in Brussels, Carmelo Nvono-Ncá, has visited the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belgium, as part of his European tour to raise awareness of the electoral campaign of Equatorial Guinea. There he has explained how the presidential elections are beginning to favor candidate Obiang thanks to his achievements.
Specifically, the Ambassador met with Philippe Bronchain, Director of Sub-Saharan Africa at the Ministry, to whom he presented the reality of the legislative and presidential elections, which will take place next Sunday, indicating that the candidate Obiang currently leads all the polls .
There is no doubt that this is due, as he explained, to the fact that the modernization of the country, together with the unprecedented development that he has experienced in recent years, has turned candidate Obiang into an unparalleled leader. “In 1979 Equatorial Guinea headed the list of the poorest countries in the world, while it is currently among the most developed African countries,” said the Ambassador.
As Ambassador Nvono-Ncá reported at this meeting, Equatorial Guinea is today one of the five most prosperous economies on the African continent. “If we add this to greater stability, order and security on the continent, it is obvious to grant the current President, Obiang Nguema Mbasogo, the opportunity to run for another mandate,” added the Ambassador.
Embassy temporarily closed for repair work.
