After the successful trip headed by the General Secretary of the Democratic Party of Equatorial Guinea (PDGE), Jerónimo Osa Osa Ecoro, accompanied by a whole delegation of the party, to Turkey early in February, in which they settled a cooperation with the Turkish government party, AK Party, the Ambassador of Equatorial Guinea in Brussels, Carmelo Nvono-Ncá, held an important meeting in the European bureau of the Turkish party with its representative in Brussels, Ruhi Açıkgöz.

At this meeting, the Turkish diplomat congratulated his counterpart for carrying out such a successful mission of the PDGE which was crowned by a memorandum of understanding with our country’s part. “This is the first agreement signed with a country in sub-Saharan Africa,” ensured Açıkgöz.

On the other hand, Nvono-Ncá voiced his gratitude for the hospitality, attention and professionalism the Turkish authorities treated the PDGE delegation throughout its stay. “I hope that this agreement between our both parties will constitute a leverage for the relationships between our countries,” said the Ambassador.
