The mass took place at the headquarters of the Equatorial Guinea Diplomatic Mission in the Belgian capital and was led by a parish priest from the city. Due to the restrictions due to the Covid-19 pandemic, only a small part of the Equatorial Guinean colony present in the Belgian country was able to attend the emotional event, as was the case with the official delegate of the colony, María Dolores Enzema.
