We hope that next year will be synonymous of prosperity, peace and well-being.
2019 was a year of hard work, difficult decisions and, above all, very good results, like the achievements accomplished by our Head of State for our nation. Thanks to his efforts, his commitment and his talent, Equatorial Guinea ends a year covered with success, crowned on the international fora for having made the Democratic Party of Equatorial Guinea (PDGE), the government party, observer member within the International of Center Democratic Parties (IDC-CDI), a strong international network made up of the most influential Christian Democrat and Christian Social parties in the world.
I also would like to express my deepest gratitude for your trust, offering me a responsibility such as that of Permanent Representative of our beloved nation before the International Maritime Organization in London. Be sure that I will live up to this responsibility in each of the decisions that I will take during my mandate. The Equatorial Guinea ambitions to become the benchmark for maritime security at the African level and I will do my best to make this happen.
The year 2020 will undoubtedly bring its share of requirements for all of us, but let us assure you that our Diplomatic Mission will follow the path His Excellency paved for us and the fruits of this work will result into growth, development, security and stability. From the Chancellery of the capital of Europe, we wish to reaffirm our commitment to continue in 2019 to make Equatorial Guinea a better country.
With all this, I pray that God’s blessing for health, peace, harmony, happiness and well-being will reach His Excellency, his family and all the people of Equatorial Guinea in 2020.
