After the important news we issued last week informing you that the Democratic Party of Equatorial Guinea (PDGE) officially became an observer member of the International Democratic Party of the Center (IDC-CDI), the government of our country remains aware of the roadmap and all the procedure still to be finalized before officializing its membership as a full member by 2022.

President Obiang himself received the IDC delegation headed by former Colombian President Andrés Pastrana. The Secretary General of the PDGE, Jerónimo Osa Osa Ecoro, as well as our country’s ambassador to Brussels, Carmelo Nvono-Ncá, also attended the meeting. This meeting laid the solid political foundation for Equatorial Guinea to assume its new role as an observer of this important international group composed  of political parties of no less than 60 countries of the world. Undoubtedly, a great success for our country.
